Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. At Take Courage Counselling, I provide a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples to navigate life’s difficulties, heal from past wounds, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

I believe that courage is already within you—sometimes, you just need the right support to tap into it. My goal is to help you uncover that strength, process your emotions, and take meaningful steps toward growth and healing!.

As a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), I bring both professional expertise and a deep passion for mental health and well-being. I specialize in working with:

✔ Individuals navigating personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, faith/spiritual concerns, and life transitions.


✔ Couples seeking to strengthen their relationship by improving communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening emotional connections.


✔ Black individuals looking for culturally responsive counselling that acknowledges and affirms their lived experiences.

If desired, I also offer Christian-integrated counselling, blending faith-based principles with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

My Approach

Every person and relationship is unique, which is why I take a personalized and collaborative approach to therapy. I draw from various counselling techniques, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Building emotional resilience

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – Finding practical solutions to challenges

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) & Gottman Method for Couples – Strengthening bonds and intimacy

  • Motivational Interviewing – Encouraging positive change

  • Multisystemic Therapy (MST) – Addressing complex family and social dynamics
